you expressed some Q2 server interest a while back, so I thought I'd let you know about this if you were interested

What's a good engine mod to play online these days? Does Q2E work at all with vanilla or osp? And are there any brightskins commands or models/skins to download that would suit this?
I'm slightly interested but I would also need to get a config setup but it's been ages since I played so I don't remember anything. I have a p1mp Q3 config but for Q2 it's a whole notter story.

I think q2e would work, but I think its gonna be forced models male/female and no bright skins to keep it level.
Seems like most of the Q2 stuff that was on the web in 97 is still out there to download.
I'll look around tomorrow, but I think there are still many downloadable configs out there.
