so the dev is cheap to pay for music licenses ?

I imagine they'll release a version in a few months with a different soundtrack or something?

Would be odd; I seem to remember the music being quite tightly tied to the narrative at certain points, such as Coconut in the diner.

Weird, I was just thinking about replaying it on PC. Played it on Xbox back in the day and loved it.
