Do any of you buy or collect art?

I just bought my first piece of proper art. Nothing stupidly expensive (less than £1000). It's a sculpture by Kris Kuksi (do a search for him if you're bothered, he's the guy that did church tank and a bunch of other stuff that does the rounds on the internet), it's one of a run of 50 that you buy blind so i don't actually know what it is yet but I'm super excited by what's gonna arrive in post in a few weeks. Up to now the only artwork I've had apart from shopbought posters and prints and shit done by family and friends is an oil painting of the star ship Enterprise I got from a car boot sale but i can see this being super addictive. Any of you got the bug?
Anyway, I'll post pics when it arrives.

The occasional limited design print by Pater Sato.
This Pinterest link will give you an idea. I have little wall space left.

Sort of; I've bought work by a local artist who gives 50% of any profit to a local charity. But the most I've spent is £100 or so.

Art is art. If it pleases your eye or if it gets you off in some other way, then sure, go get it. For your own sake.
Buying art as an investment is a whole different story, that is even more unpredictable than stock-market.
I used to surf
The FX Lab back when it was active. And there were some really fine original pieces of art up for sale, be it in silicon or resin or whatever. Some of them were very, very good. But in the end, I always decided not to buy in.
I prefer betting on companies via stocks, I think the outcome is a little bit more reliable.

He's fucking fantastic, I love him. He's got a fucking crab claw and a fawning German soldier! The detailing is so intricate. I want more!
