What do you recommend for around $400 CAD/$318 USD?
Right now I have:
AMD Sempron 2800+
512 DDR dual channel ram
A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard
GeForce FX 5600 video card (yuk!)

frag,if you went the 256mb 6800GT, make sure your psu can handle it, and it would be a good idea to throw in a couple of extra fans

I was thinking about getting this one: BFG FX6800 GT 256MB
Not sure if my CPU can handle that.

I have two fans. One in the front and the other in the back.
I might buy a speed control unit.

i put an extra two in when i got the card, placed one at the back of the card to draw heat away, the other at the top of the box to blow it out.
i now have 4 fans(apart from the psu,cpu and card fans) in different positions to draw/blow heat.
i live in australia heat can be a problem, esp in summer

I have three and love them all. I own a 5700 Ultra, 6800GT and a MX4000 (old, not used ATM). My 5700 Ultra's fan had problems a few weeks after I bought it and BFG replaced the card no problem, they even offered to send me a new card so I wouldn't be without one. As for my 6800GT I have had no issues and love it, great card, great company, great performance. All BFG cards are overclocked, not much, 20MHz, but the sell the OCed cards at the same price. BFG Tech owns

Well this is my case:
I guess I'll have to buy a drill bit to cut some holes in the side and top.
Do you think I should go with 80 mm fans or 120 mm? Right now I have 2 120's. One in the front and the other in the back.
Edit: Or is it 60's?

as long as your temps stay down, i dont see a reason to start putting fans into your case..
120mm fans will push 40+ CFM, thats more then enough.

http://www.cpuid.org/download/cpu-z-128.zip
Download, Run cpu-z.exe and go to the memory/ram section and it will tell you. Speed, timmings, Manufacturer etc.
