I hate the fucking Spurs. With every fiber of my being - Tim Duncan especially. I don't know who I like less - him, Kobe, Shaq, Bowen, or Tony Parker.
Other basketball fans here - was it just me, or did this seem like one of the worst years in history for watching NBA basketball?
I haven't thought much if it in the last few years anyhow, but this year seemed especially bad.

What's wrong with them?
I've never watched much basketball, or sports for that matter, but I do catch a few games here and there, same thing with this season. But I think the playoffs been okay so far. I like that shaq got a new team and miami is storming to the finals. Also like how other teams been in contention or at least close to it (like the baby bulls

).
Suns are fun to watch, good talent there, especially when they start raining the 3's.

Not so much individual games, but I felt like this season was lacking some of the big rivalries in the past. For example - Lakers/Kings...
What was the key rivalry this season?

noway the suns beat the spurs imo. Spurs defense can shut them down and their offense is good enough to run and gone along with the suns. Then the spurs are way too physical, which is going to keep the sun's undersized frontcourt in foul trouble, forcing their bench in more often....sun's bench is way weaker than the spurs'.

Already over, Nash and Suns versus _allas Mavericks (No D), and Nash with MVP worthy playoff series performance right in Mark Cuban's face for not giving him the money. Indiana versus Detroit could have been a very attractive series to watch considering their earlier season brawl, but Stern didn't reinstate Artest even though he finished serving 82 games of suspension already, and Indiana really ran out of juice by Game 3 after a Game 7 series with Boston coupled with numerous injuries. For seattle versus Spurs, it's mostly Ray Allen versus Bruce "Ankle Breakers not by crossing you over" Bowen. Miami vs Detroit and Phoneix vs Spurs just do not have the drama involved, although i hope Phoneix wins the whole thing because they play the type of basketball that's really fun to watch.

Don't follow much anymore. Don't have the channels and haven't played in years. Anyone know where to get some good TV-rips of matches or some Jordan stuff? =)

Unless you are playing or positively tanked at the ballpark, the answer is no.

Professional basketball is useful only in that it highlights just about everything that's wrong with the US.

was a good year to be a sonics fan.
from nowhere to 52 wins.
and if the injury bug didn't bite them, they would have destroyed the spurs.
