I didn't know it was so slow compared to the competition

I ordered one today. Having known this, I'd probably still get it. The stylus is a crucial feature to me and I like that it's 1440x2560, 5.7" screen, IP68 and has decent battery life.

At the same time I hope Samsung uses higher performance internals next time

I think the problem here is there are just no phones in existence that measure up to my high standards... Maybe I'll design and create my own phone for maximum domination...

All these reviews are very positive. I think Anandtech might be a bit harsh.

the camera pics has the modern super sony look, not the old 2002 look of the iphone or samsung pics.


the vid is killer the 1080 60fps has UN-fuck-ing-believable steadyshot!

the 4k video is hyperclear but the steadyshot isnt as wicked as the 1080

Anandtech is right, it's not very snappy and has frame drops. Definitely not as oily smooth as an iOS device, I hope that it gets better with Android 7.0 (Nougat).

The phone body itself is very nice though and the screen is great as usual. It's a lot more narrow and compact than my Note 4 but still has a 5.7" screen. This is definitely a welcome change.

Is it snappier than ur note 4 at least?...

A little. It got a lot better after I changed these settings, same as on my Note 4.

It will probably get faster once it's done installing all the updates and optimizing apps and stuff. No complaints now, gorgeous phone.
