I've been looking (unsuccessfully) for some reference site that will explain all the details between P1, P2, GT1, GT2, etc...
Can anyone tell me what the specs are for each class, or point me in the right direction towards finding this info out?

you havn't tried lemans.org?
basically p1 and p2 are prototype classes, (formerly LMP900 and LMP600, formerly Group C)
not sure about the prototype rules for this year, but P1 is the crazy fast class with Audi R8 & Bently Speed 8 etc..
p2 is the lighter 600kg cars with smaller engines, mazda kudzu, some lola chassis cars etc...
GT and GTS are the "street car" classes.
GT = as close to street stock as it gets... 911's M3 GTR's etc...
GTS = Modified street cars, Corvette C5R, viper GTSR, Saleen S7R etc...
speedvision always carries the whole race flag to flag... check it out sometime, its always explained by the announcers, since they don't have alot to talk about for 24 hours.

they didn't carry the whole race last year, nor the year before iiirc. it's a bit hacked up, but not alot.
speaking of racing, congrats to Kimi and McLaren for a brilliant Monaco GP.

Yeah, they usually carry the first and last few hours of LeMans, with some coverage overnight.
Yes, Raikkonnen was fucking amazing, those lap times were stellar.
Also, Eric Bostrom made an amazing pass to overtake Aaron Yates on the next to last lap to give Ducati a win in AMA Superbike at Pike's Peak this weekend.
HA! FUCK YOU SUZUKI!
