Good that I have already Audacity installed from clean installator a long time ago and using Windows 7 not even need to use Classic Shell

actually it was just a mirror site that was hacked and legit download links changed to point to malware

Pretty sure you can recover your MBR with Windows recovery.
Their Twitter said they had an EFI payload that wasn't included (apparently). That would've hurt.

That's what most virus's do anyway, without altering the MBR.
I'd still be more pissed if they locked me out my UEFI bios. Fuming.

This is why I set-up nightly disk image backups
Sourceforge has been bundling crap for a long time. Always check the digital signatures of stuff you download to make sure they're legit, or just bypass the site.
