Any bro bought or use a surface pro4?

I'm handling my Mac back (return of the Mac, lol) and need something new. I've been given £1k to buy a laptop for emails, office etc. No need for Photoshop etc.

Don't want another Mac if I'm honest, they aren't much more useful than an iPad lately if you don't need complex software, I just need office and web.

I fancy the pro4 i5 with keypad. Reviews are very good but would like some real feedback on day to day work use.

I could post in T&T but I also want the tears of YGP and Geoff to rain down.

Dell XPS 13 is still the best ultrabook IMO, can you stretch the budget a bit?

if you can wait a little bit, Asus will be selling the Transformer Pro 3 soon. It's basically the same as a Surface 4 but better, with a Thunderbolt 3 port.

Ironically, I hear Surface's are quite good with graphics packages thanks to the pressure-sensitive stylus.
Couple of the guys in the office swear by their Surfaces, but I'll stick with my MacBook for work.

I'm interested in seeing if one of those works with my razer core (I'd assume so) but it's really underrated to have a single lightweight computer you take with you everywhere.

SP2 was known for having a great touch-sensitive screen and stylus. However the Surface Pro 3 moved away from that and I'm not sure the SP4 was considered a return to form in any, uh, form...

SP4 has fared better than SP3 in our office. Surface book is doing 0 for 1 so far in early tests. We're talking 'came through the helpdesk's office door airborne' kind of rejection in some cases.

edit: wow that link I posted doesn't back my point up at all, shits on the SP3 for reasons other than the loss of touch fidelity. Point still stands though, nothing like the wacom-grade shit they had on the SP2.
