There is a bowling alley right across the street from me and I have been going there probably every day in the last two weeks to get my game back.
My ball is still with the movers and won't get here for a couple months still, but I haven't been doing to bad with the house balls. My scores are about maxed out with those.

House balls (15lb) I'll usually get between 150-180 and sometimes higher, sometimes in the 140's. Tonight I bowled my highest in a while, a 189.

I'll just get a new ball soon and then tear that place apart with strikes.

Anyone else bowl? And I'm not talking about that faggety thumb out of the ball shit train style.

its a white trash sport...if thats what ur into...go for it...

My old man rolled a 300 when he was 10 or 11 way back when...at the time he was the youngest person in the world or country or something to have done it.

I used to bowl for the hell of it in the summer with friends when we had nothing else to do...and I took a bowling class in college my senior year because I needed 3 credits..heh.
I'm a streaky bowler...nothing fancy, no spin on the ball, just two steps off center and roll it at a slight angle at the pocket.

Best game is a 268 (had 8 strikes in a row that one.) I've had a 222, 246, and a couple other rounds over 200.
That was back in college about 8 years ago...hadn't bowled for almost 7 years until about 1 month ago and went. Best round was a 179 in 3 games... :/

Funny thing though, I actually couldn't finish my last game because I had strained my achilled tendon a few days earlier. I was bowling with my right shoe off (thinking just a sock might help), but I had to stop. I had to drop out of a bowling game due to injury. Sad.

The other day i they gave me some shoes that were fresh out of the box and slick as a mofo! I was this close to falling on my ass every roll with lots of people watching too, so i went to get a different pair of shoes.
The ones they gave me were from the stone age and when i went to roll again, i thought 'well im not gonna fall on my ass this time so just rool the ball'.
Sure enough I didn't slide at all and went straight forward onto the lane hands down and on my knees thinking omgwtflol

it was pretty funny

i used to bowl 180's on AVG when i was on a team 4 years ago.. i went last week.. and bowled two 120's it was a sad day

I fucking hate bowling.. been building them for years, i used to be good at it though and i had a avarage on around 170- 220.. the best i scored was 272.

I love it when it come to business, always wanted a bowlingpub for myself.. but as a sport its shit.

Its weird. I hate bowling but I usually end up having fun once things get going because its a competitive sport I actually have a chance at winning. Think my highest has been like 180.

I haven't bowled in a long time. Used to do it regularly several years ago, but never was really great at it. My average was around 160.
Started out throwing straight, but once I learned to hook it I never went back.

It's still pretty fun with some friends, since you can compete while getting drunk, like pool or darts or fussball. :icon32:
