John Carmack receives BAFTA

The creator of Doom, Wolfenstein 3D and Quake is being honoured with the British Academy's highest honour.
The games developer will receive a Bafta fellowship at the 2016 awards.
Mr Carmack left id Software - the company he founded - in 2013, and now acts as the chief technology officer at Facebook's Oculus virtual reality division.
Quake 3 is his favorite game

Cool stuff. Oculus is pretty much a perfect match for Carmack I think. Also everyone knows Q3 is the best game ever made

I've always enjoyed his speeches. Despite his sometimes apparent "nih", he's a very well spoken and quite thoughtful with his talks. I'm terrible at writing and giving speeches.
