Well there's an unexpected turn of events.
We all knew one of the two Matrix creators has transgender surgery during the production of the trilogy.
Now several years later the other brother also had the same surgery.

This made a news item today on a breakfast radio show and I was gob smacked

They also created/directed a Netflix exclusive show, Sense8. I watched a few episodes but lost interest. There was a lot of LGBT themes, which would have been fine, but because it was needlessly presented as such a big part of the show, it felt forced and distracting.

I hope they are both happier, but I don't have much faith in their work.

I would say they done nothing memorable since the 1st Matrix but they done V for Vendetta too ?

Jupiter Ascending was a bogging film.

If they haven't done anything good since The Matrix, that's fine with me. So long as they keep pushing the boundaries, maybe they'll strike gold again.

Cloud Atlas is an excellent movie imo. 8/10. Best book I ever read, I have to say.
Sense8 season1 is so lala. Like Obs said, it feels pushed. Has a nice story and tone, though. 6.5/10.

I was pretty surprised actually with him coming out. He looked like a solid dude. Well... Make good stuff, lads.

That's great as I have found it and plan to view as soon as possible.

Do yourself a favour by reading the book first, Whiskey. It's an original novel.
It tells 6 stories in a kind of anachronistic way. 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, 6A, 6B, 5B, 4B, 3B, 2B, 1B.
And the editing of the film is even more sliced up. I read the book before watching the movie and can understand people that have not read the book being upset about the way the movie roles out.
