The white house dinner isn't The Late Show. What he has done to late night is an embarrassment. Granted, I'm not a fan really of any of the late night guys. Conan is the best. It's a shame what NBC did to him. Leno was shit too...

The Colbert Report was the shit. I haven't seen a single one of his late night shows mostly cause I don't watch cable but the comercials made it look horrible...

Those late night shows are all fairly awful and the hosts are all unfunny, but at least Conan does a better job of interviewing the 0.1% who have something of interest to say, ie. Louis CK or Gene Wilder.

Colbert is a pretty hardcore dumbocrat though, he worships Obomba and won't say anything damning about Shillary. Then there's John Oliver who tried to insult Jill Stein and lump her in with that lunatic Johnson right after playing a soundbite that says how awful the two main candidates are. Gee-fucking-whiz.

America's [current year] people are united around the proposition that all that matters is Drumpf being stopped in his tracks. Jill Stein is getting in the way of that, even though her electoral support is only 0.000001%

I was a big fan of the Colbert Report. While the Late Show is nowhere near as good, I still stream it the day after almost every day.

I'm quite fond of mr. Oliver, once every while i'll binge a few (old) episodes on the youtubes. I appreciate how i usually learn something in between the lolz too, for instance yesterday he educated me on the fact that the US capitol is not actually represented in congress even though they and have a higher population / GDP than some 15 states - which is this megaweird & interesting thing

It's the only late show i like to watch now and again - i'll catch a Colbert sometimes, but not regulary.
