I wasn't really expecting much of this game, but after seeing it in action I'm rather impressed. Those portals and the gravity weirdness sounded gimicky at first, but I think it can actually be a lot of fun. The seamless portals are very nicely done.

I've watched this vid yesterday. Looks very promising, trying to avoid the usual FPS conventions.
But for finnagle's sake, didn't they announce Prey about 10 years ago? Finish the game ffs.

They were very nicely done in Unreal too, back in 97'

As for the game, looks great. It DOES share a lot of Doom 3, some of the monsters just look like the ones from Doom 3 but better, which cant be bad. I'm looking forward to this one.
Shame that they STILL cant weld down the front seam of the head to avoid the straight line problem that every doom engine game seems to get. I dont have that problem when i make models for doom 3, because you have to do is not mirror your UV map and weld the seam... But oh well...

To be honest, I don't care for the interiors at all. They look as dull as Doom3.

Dont u think it looked a little bit more interesting than Doom3?
Those walking paths that change the gravity and shit like that?
