Actually, the guy that wrote dune came to see me one afternoon and asked me "Hey DRuM, got any ideas for a new book? I'm kinda blank right now " I said "Hmm, how about the concept of thought based teleportation?' He liked the idea.

Yeah and he wrote Dune back in the 60s so the likelihood of him asking the infant DRuM's opinion what to put in his novels is pretty remote really.
