first, after the presentation of the PS3, Microsoft claimed their presentation didnt look that good cause the Xbox360s only ran at one third their actual speed.

now, it seems those games didnt even run on xbox360s at all

A pair of Apple Powermac G5 systems were actually running the Xbox 360 demos, not the 360 console. The consoles in the kiosks weren't actually running, they were just for show - now you know why all the controllers were wired.

Must be a let-down that they weren't running the XBox 360 for those who were there, but if it's more powerful than the G5 at games then the real thing would only look and run better, won't it?

I can understand that if their XBox 360 isn't in a fully functional state they'd rather demo it using a 100% reliable stable system and E3 should always be taken with a grain of salt when it comes to new hardware. Lots of smoke and mirrors there, not just from the MS camp.

I wouldn't start doubting about the XBox 360 after hearing this sort of news. It's not completely unexpected. MS knows how high the stakes are for this generation of consoles and they know they can't afford to screw this up.

M$ should pull the release until next yaer with even better specs to beat PS3

They already have the controller for it so im sold no matter what.

It's fucking E3, nothing is what it seems, it's part of the damn show. I'm just amazed that people are amazed by these kinds of "revelations".
