I can't be the only one who minimised the video within 10 seconds because I thought I had a Skype message.

The fake "blocking" effect simulating an interrupted video signal is utterly annoying though.

Well, I do not have Skype, so I can't afford, but I agree, most people who have Skype will be pretty confused even in theatre

You live outside Europe don't you? In Czech Republic every TV channel moved to digital broadcast and if bad signal, the video gets choppy and blocky most of time. Also bad tranfer of YouTube video will produce these digital glitches as well, I had few bad connections that featured glitches almost at every minute of the video, so I'd not say it's unrealistic though. And to webcam data transfer - I bet you get glitchy plenty of time, don't you?

Anyway the bucket of this movie is really low, around $10,000 - it's just recordings of a computer screen with exact copies of websites and apps everyone use on their PC, slightly modified by experienced programmer to include the features the movie required. And to the paranormal activities - Adobe Aftereffects would do the job And to the scareness of the movie - I bet the seats of the theatre will be dirty

I'm in the UK. We are still in Europe at the moment- we might not be soon . All our TV is digital and we do get those "blocky"/"choppy" artefacts but I've never really seen it happen on Skype or YouTube, guess I'm lucky.

$10k does seem pretty cheap. It's an interesting idea anyway.

Memphis, it is supposed to be authentic story of few teenager friends that enjoy wild benders. The story starts with Laura being drunk on a party - friends video her and upload it to YouTube. Few days later Laura commit suicide which friends again cauth on tape and they again upload it to YT. Very sad beginning. A year later these friends call a skype conferrence to disscuss their everyday issues when some anonymous user with nick Laura (and some number) connects to the disscussion and wants to know who uploaded the last video with Laura. Strange thing is that user cannot be kicked from the conversation and he keeps to asking. Then paranormal activities start to happening and friends go crazy. There is a countdown on the screen, what happens when it reaches zero, nobody knows until it will reach theatres...

if dead morons know how to access Skype calls from beyond the grave and somehow set themselves up with uber-admin privileges so they can't be kicked, they should be smart enough to know who uploaded a fucking video
