I make coffee with a fucking french press, or a pour-over method. I also don't own a TV.
Problem solved.

We have one of those pod coffee makers at work. While the ease of it means I no longer get stick from turning up to work with a camp stove and an espresso maker I do hate the plastic waste from the capsules.

don't own a TV either

Nespresso did this for years, as in, their cups are propriety shaped so only their fit. Nothing strange about that.

also, fuck those gasstation coffeemakers. DIY like a man.

I bought a Keurig 2.0 so I could make my own Tim Hortons coffee and got screwed because the pod was not 2.0 compatible so I had to use the silly simple annoying hack to get it working.

I gave my Keurig away.
I feel cheated.

Funny, back in the day I bought the Tassimo brewer over the Keurig precisely because it had scannable pods that allowed the machine to vary water temp and amount. Turned out to be the Betamax of brewers.
