I think we treat the natives worse than the southern Americans treat black people. I grew up next to the largest reserve in New Brunswick and we didn't go there. It was pretty much suicide.

At bon fires it wasn't unusual for natives to hide and wait till the crowd thinned out before they'd ambush people and beat them with baseball bats. No reason whatsoever to do it.

Sounds like it's an open-and-shut case of just white people being racist and there is no possible blame whatsoever on another party or social problems which deserve a closer look.
