Ignore the morons above, especially toxicbug. You’re looking for a rangefinder with M & L mount lenses. Something like a Leica M. bad news though, they don’t come cheap unless you buy a poor Russian one.

Have a look at http://www.robertwhite.co.uk/35mm.htm

Thanks my friend.
What I am looking at is more of a combined SLR Digital camera.
My mistake in the wording of the topic.

Get the Rebel XT :icon14:

DON'T BUY IT IN A LOCAL STORE!!! IT'S A TOTAL RIPOFF, BUY IT ON THE INTERNET OR EBAY FROM ANOTHER PROVINCE, YOU'LL ONLY PAY ONE TAX.

Well from what I see the Rebel XT is a Rebel with a higher megapixel, if that be the case then you will be most happy.
I love the Rebel, it was at Sam's with the lens, two batteries, nice Canon case and a 3-year total replacement warrenty.
What I love most is the ability to point and click or change every option, great camera

Get a Rebel XT, or a higher level Canon DSLR, like a 20D, don't bother looking at anything else if you want a DSLR. Canon > *

This one is the latest model, I believe. Are there any one hotter than this one and did you mean I shouldn't bothered looking at other brands even if cheaper?

BTW...I think you are the closest of all of my friends in this forum...I am in Longueuil, South Shore of Montreal.

What a shitty weather we have...

Well, Take Care neighbor.

If you're on a budged and definately want an interchangeable lens DSLR, get a Rebel XT. All the other brands suck.

Are you jealous or what?

In 1994 I was in Fort Lauderdale. You could have been my closest friend but Mr Lee was still working on the WWW at the time and we couldn't have share this conversation.

Anyhow, Thanks for your replies in my topics and have a great evening.

Well of course with an SLR you must use the viewfinder to take pictures, and that is a definate plus to me. The viewfinder is nice, has 9 points for focusing that light up red when it is focused on it, the 9 points are also divided into rule of thirds, very handy if you want a good photo composition using rule of thirds. The LED is crisp and nice, I love the controls for viewing pictures and changing camera settings, very easy. The lens that comes with the camera is nice, I am hoping to get a nice telephoto lenses later.

So this is what you've got...
I couldn't find it before because it's called 350D in European Country but Rebel XT in the US.
Thanks for the link. Great camera, it sell for CAN$1000+ on eBay.

Do you know about the Kodak Canon DCS 520?
It's old but look great.

Good day my friends.
Thanks for your participation.

I was wondering if I should consider the price of the lens also because of the difference in price from brands. I don't think that a Konica is as expensive as a Canon or a Nikon.
What do you think?

Minolta Konica Maxxum 7D.
