Police shoots unarmed woman in Washington DC

Some woman who wasn't entirely clear in the head rammed through some barricades in Washington DC. She kept speeding through the streets and ramming stuff and trying to get away from the police. When she finally halted and got out of the car, she was shot by the surrounding police officers to the point where they had "difficulty identifying her because of the extent of her injuries". She appeared to be unarmed. Also, there was a one year old child in the backseat. She was clearly in the wrong, but sounds to me like a case of trigger happy policemen.

Trigger happy doesn't even begin to describe it. Police simply have a license to kill here and it's fucking disgusting. This country is such a shithole.

Meh, crazy people should be killed, full stop. It's only a matter of time until they get their hands on a gun and start murdering people. That's why we need guns to protect us.

lol wtf, no one was "mowing down" people. Two police officers were injured during the chase. While it doesn't say anything about the severity of the injuries, between the lines I can read that it wasn't all that bad. Also, nowhere does it state the woman was specifically targeting people, only that she drove through a barricade and ignored instructions to halt the vehicle.

She drove through a barricade, hit a cop that went on her hood and was thrown off into a ditch.... I dunno if you've ever been hit by a car, but they hurt, even when going very slowly.

She mowed down a cop and got shot. I have no sympathy for her. There was a case here where some idiot Brazilian was on drugs, jumped the counter of a store, stole some stuff then went apeshit out on the street. The cops tased the fucker and he ended up dying. Sucked in to the cunt. Everyone knows the cops can legally fuck you up in a multitude of ways. If a person carries on like a fucking retard in front of the cops and gets fucked up for it then that's their problem. Moral of the story: don't be a fucking retard in front of the cops.

No matter what happened, I still think it's pretty fucked that people just shrug whenever a cop shoots someone. It's like it's the only thing people expect the cops to do well. "Suicide By Police" is a socially acceptable, and socially expected result.
Sorry, but if people can't help themselves from being a fucking retard in front of cops it doesn't mean they should be killed. But I guess I feel that way because I'm not a sociopath.

I'm not saying I have all the facts, but shooting her to the point where they can't identify her based on appearance is very hard to justify.
pretty sure cops are trained to shoot to neutralize (eg in the leg) instead of repeatedly in the face. not sure though.

The article I seen made out the copper was injured after gunfire, oh yea and he crashed into a bollard by himself
The black sedan later appeared to drive at a security bollard at Garfield Circle, just west of the US Capitol, prompting officers to draw their weapons and confront the vehicle. Police said shots were fired but the car continued to move.
In the chaos a US Capitol Police cruiser was seriously damaged and its driver was badly injured. The car is thought to have crashed into a bollard, rather than being hit by the suspect's car.
As the black sedan neared Congress it hit a barrier close to the Hart Senate office building. It was then that police opened fire again, killing Carey.
