Tonight at 12:40 on ch4.
George C Scott rightly won the best actor Oscar (one of seven the film won) for his portrayal of General George Patton, one of America's greatest Second World War commanders, whose successes in North Africa, Italy and Europe were offset by his massive ego and maverick attitudes, including his infamous slap and dressing-down of a battle-fatigued soldier that saw him lose his command in Italy.
I haven't seen this for years. From what I remeber, it's ownage.

On before it is 100 greatest war films, if you're into those countdown programmes.

that's one of the things that's annoying me about doctor who is that the episodes are completely unrelated to each other.

Only thing I dont like about the movie is that Patton's skin is about as orange as the carrots in Ryoki's avatar. Kinda gross.
