Not surprising considering those are two completely different types of vehicle. A 2500 HD is meant to be a serious work truck, not a jacked up off-road monster. Comparing 4x4 in a truck built for hauling to the AWD in a car built for the road is lol worthy. Even if it were an off-road monster, those mudding tires are going to be trash on the pavement just like the video shows. Once the wheels are spinning, the Touareg barely has to do any work.
The Touareg can haul an additional 1000 lbs in the vehicle and is only able to tow 7700 lbs. The 2500 HD can haul an additional 4200 lbs and tow 13000 with a hitch or 18000 with a 5th wheel.

Whats with the sales pitch ?, it's like a lion wrestling a shark, it's not meant to happen but all things being equal it'd be fun to see

.
The V10 is only an automatic too lol, the truck was designed for hauling and it got hauled by a family wagon.... engine for engine was a good battle but guess weight and grip wins the day.
Also, doesn't part of your post say the VW was built to be an off road monster then goes onto say that it was designed for the road ?, I understand the confusion as urban off roaders are a bit of a drag queen

I'm saying that moron driving the 2500 is trying to make it look like an off-road monster when all he is doing is making it less effective. The VW is much better suited to this test and definitely isn't mid-range with a V10 (that costs twice as much as the 2500). I don't really see how it makes it lol america.

Got ya

, I was just chuckling at the moron in the truck getting his dick downsized by a micro machine
I was quite surprised looking up the power outputs for the 2500 n all, but yea the VW was always gonna do more with the power and knows that's all down to the price point
