Why are they such loud, obnoxious fuckwits?
Seriously, golf is supposed to be a "gentleman's" sport, so why when someone hits a drive does some useless drain on earths naturals resources shout out "MASH POTATO" and other dumb shit?

I am genuinely shocked at how rude they seem to be at this years Ryder Cup. There were pricks when I went to the Celtic Manor 2 years ago but fuck me...this is the sort of shit I would expect from a NASCAR crowd...!!!

I'll never get the Mashed Potato thing. But overall I find the Ryder Cup to be pretty obnoxious in terms of how the fans act all the way around. Fans are going to be excited though - the Americans get rolled in this thing pretty much every time so the fact that they had established such a big lead was going to end up in a lot more celebratory drinking and thus a lot more NASCAR like behavior.

I hear it's accepted, but i can't get my head around it.

BTW someone asked me 'do you breath in or out on your driving shot?', fucked me up all day.
