What happened with what? :s The game? Perfect Dark 2 was gonna come out on the cube, but Rare sided with M4 after a buy out or something so now they are making games for the box, and the 360.

The new perfect dark better not look like the pics I saw of the main character looking like a 13 year old girl anime style :icon33:

I very much doubt it, it was just concept shit. If its still the original team making it, then I expect & hope they wont change the game engine. Albeit with major graphics updates and the controls, give it a halo style layout or classic Goldeneye precision style.
This game can.. no WILL have potential to be one of the best FPS's ever. I still have faith in Rare, although they did sell out to the devils of M$.
Im gonna dig my N64 up methinks, still not finished Perfect Agent level yet :icon32:

The team members who were mainly responsible for Goldeneye and Perfect Dark left Rare years ago and have been making those Time Splitters games(Which happen to still play identical to Goldeneye, no jump and all). I'm sure that, unless they try to emulate the old formula ala EA with Goldeneye 2, this game is gonna be a Halo clone.

Timesplitters 2/3 is silly at times in how much its like Goldeneye... They use the same sounds as well... Timesplitters 2 was the most obvious GE clone though, smae guns, same aiming, same sounds on the weapons, pretty much same locations, pretty much same music etc etc...
Anybody who plays the first level of TS2 and doesn't think of goldeneye is silly.

While I agree that TS is strongly influenced by GoldenEye, it cannot be used as a bad argument. They have taken a lot of good things from GoldenEye and put it in TS and TS2 (TS3 is a bit different though).
The first level of TS2 is so much like the first GoldenEye level that it's indeed "silly", but more like a poke of fun in GE's than a blatant rip-off copy of the game.
Same guns is a bit odd to say as TS sports many sets of different weapons. Only the current day weapons are similar to the GoldenEye guns, but that's not so strange considering they stick to real-life weapons in both cases. You could say that Counter-Strike weapons are very similar to GoldenEye weapons as well.

I never said it was a bad thing, i enjoyed 2 more han 3 because it was more goldeneye. It was as close as i was gonna get to goldeneye without actually playing it.
