1st ?, from 95 ?, I think I'm the only person ever to like that film ? lol. My plan was to torrent n all but I'm glad I didn't, I usually moan about 3d films so it's always a bonus to find one you like. I'm actually thinking I'm gonna be the only person that ended up liking this one n all :/
Demolition Man tho ?, that doesn't really need touching :/, unless they get Sly and Bollocks back to progress the story, but then the black man will still be dead and topping a baddy like that is near impossible.

Silvester Stalone could do no wrong, in his prime. I enjoyed all his action films. Especially the science fiction stuff like Dredd and Demolition Man.
And that also goes for Arnold's stuff. I don't think there will ever be action heroes quite like them ever again.

Awe c'mon man give it a chance , nothing like Avengers, even though it is the polar opposite and is obviously making a shameful grab for cash in the sudden surge of comic films, but where Avengers was all action and sexyness, this is all violence and brutal. It ain't no 'Tank Girl' anyway - but there's no character development, links or attachment, no back stories or surprises, just Dredd, how he's meant to be, all chin and guns, with some justice. It kinda reminded me of 'Doom', in how good it was by its simplicity.
I agree with all about Arnie and Sly also, those pair are irreplaceable and it's quite shocking how such similar characters turned up at once, not to see another one again ?, neither are especially good actors either, even for their time and I just find it puzzling how they become so big and I ended up loving so many of their films.
Speaking of old heroes n all, but not quite as impressive, before Dredd I caught the advert for the new Bruce Willis flick, called Looper ?
looks interesting I thought, although could be in danger of losing its novelty after the 1st 5 mins ?

looks poor at best, we will see.
I bet you it's all set in that building to keep costs down. And mega city one looks like Glasgow.... Poor, very poor.

Obvious cost cutting is obvious, they didn't really cheap out on what they did do though, I thought it was cute . If you do see Just don't expect those normal things I listed above, that you usually find in films, an ye the 3d I thought was impressive even if they used a cheap trick for that too .

after the 1st 10-15 minutes, and apart from a few sweeping shots of the skyline, to be fair its a fucking big building the size of a city, 1 mile high I think.

disappointed by the missed opportunity money shot at the end. I wanted to see that head explode like a melon.
