first, their COO admitted to being anti-gay. Which is hilarious since their brand and product just screams homo.

Then some toy manufacturer pulled their product from their kids meals because of it, and in a poor attempt to cover up their jesus lovin bigotry, they decide to impersonate a teenage girl on facebook namely as a Chick-fil-A supporter, caliming that they pulled the toys from menu because of some safety issue....in turn their PR 'genius' behind all this gets caught for using an 8 hour old account with a stock photo to do this....

The company itself has a fairly anti-gay stance, for example with their employee hiring practices. They tend to hire wholesome Christian employees, not sinful faggot atheists.

It was been known by most atheists/gays for a while that Chick-fil-a, the company itself, donates to Christian and anti-gay groups. With the official announcement from the COO, more people are finally starting to realize it.

It also wasn't just the fake facebook account. They posted signs in the stores about the toys being removed because of safety hazards to small children.

that's the thing, their actual customer base isn't composed of the demographic they support. At least that's the impression I get every time I pass by the cafeteria in the mall.

it's not as big a chain as those others... sort of second tier and not represented in as many areas. there are quite a few around here and they're popular (there was also a Chick-fil-e on the campuses of both universities i attended).
the food... fried chicken on a bun. it tastes better than McD's etc, but so would a boiled rat. that said, i wish the mayors of Boston and Chicago had kept their politician mouths shut. unless they can prove discriminatory hiring practices, which i've never heard anything about, they have no right to block franchises from their cities. i don't see them threatening to evict boy scout troops or conversion therapists... pointless election-year bandwagon jumping that will do more harm than good.

this is what i meant by weird capitalism. in the post-cold war world, the left surrendered the last of its socialist principles and embraced the free market. result?
