Barrow hill, a different kind of FPS/Horror game

"Barrow Hill is a horror/thriller adventure game; told from the point of view of the player using a first person perspective. Set in mysterious Cornwall, rich with legends; from sacred wells to dark forests, the players will unravel many mysteries, after being stranded on the lonely road to the 'barrow'. That would fucking rawk... a more slowpaced scary horror game with occasional "monsters" and stuff...
Im looking forward hearing and seeing more about it. :icon31:

I've heard a lot about it, just never picked it up. I have a lot of impulses to buy games when I see them, but since I hardly have any time to play them anymore, and usually don't even finish the ones I do buy, I hate to spend cash on a game unless it's just awesome.
Doom and FarCry are the only games I've bought in the last couple of years I believe, and I still haven't finished those. I still find time to play a game of Q3 once every week or two somehow, but that's because I can play it in short bursts when I have to.
I'm quite a bit behind on most of the gaming scene.

Only played the first one... tried it at my kid brothers place on the PS2, dident like it much.. are the sequel much better?

SH in first person would kill it. the firstperson parts in SH4 were ok, but i like the 3rd person thing better. that way they can make stuff happen behind you without you missing out on it, too :icon14:

2, IMO. best story, nice depressing atmosphere.
others say 1 though. although i liked 3 more than 1 i think. i dont like the style of SH1 n 3 - the cheap scares and gore are fun but when you turn it off, its gone.
unlike SH2, which will prolly haunt you for weeks to come
