So there's a truck filled with jet fuel on the track while there's cars with extremely hot engines doing laps? Smart thing. But then again, NASCAR is probably the dumbest sport ever invented.

lol

Only in NASCAR can a driver crash into the only thing still left on the track.

Somewhere halfway through the video one of the commentators actually refers to that bit of track as "turn 3".

I'm not sure how he gets to 3 with something looking like this:

Sometimes there's 3 bends in a course, they look more like a triangle than an oval.

Indy 500 has 4 corners apparently.

^This

I am a fan of motorsport in general and I tried a few Nascar races last year - quite entertaining actually but my love is still F1 :D

Same, always had a love for F1... My interest kinda dropped when Senna died though, he was my hero from when I was a kid. Played the shit out of Super Monaco Grand Prix.

And not only that, but those hot cars even carry their own supply of flammable death liquid! Who thought this up?

See three turns?

(irony here tho is they call it a 4 turn track, and count the kink as a straight...lol)

Maybe if you weren't such a cocky ass you might think for two seconds and not look like a dick. I came home and this way on TV, they were drying the track under a safety car and Montoya had a steering failure that made him go into it. It's racing, it happens.

I like other racing over Nascar but dismissing it is pretty lol.

Yes...just like it's pretty lol to dismiss riding-lawn-mower racing and people who race pet hamsters.

Sorry redneck but your racing sucks.

I was forced to camp out with some redneck friends last year at the Talladega race, and although hearing 50 cars pass you by, screaming their 800hp ass off in a span of 2 seconds is kinda cool, I'd never to it again... fucking bore fest

It's only in one country and it nearly pulls in as much money as it's international competition....america wins again lol?

lol yeah because a good sport is all about practices that pull in as many spectators as possible.. even if those practices effectively belittle the sport.

It's shit like NASCAR that doesn't allow a real racing sport like F1 to succeed in the US.
