I'll wait. I finally got my driver to stop crashing when watching full screen YouTube so I'm in no rush to upgrade.

so far only thing i've noticed is when watching an .avi and you skip through the progress bar, the movie screen becomes scrambled for a few seconds.

besides that no other problems so far

I'm glad these are good for you guys.

Me and my 560 Ti are rolling back to the previous drivers. After installing them last week I've had 3 BSODs and can barely watch The Daily Show from the website without the driver crashing and hanging my whole system for 2 full minutes while it crashes in slow mo. At least the earlier drivers crashed quickly and let you get back and going. With these newer drivers YouTube had become an adventure. Also, I hadn't noticed an increase with Skyrim either.

Oh well...old drivers were fine anyway.

Yeah, says XP through 7. 8 has the separate drivers.

Exactly on both counts. There is a consumer preview of 8 available. I tried the developer preview. Seems geared toward tablets and touch screens. I didn't care for it.

only if you use the metro ui.
we all know every nerd is going to set it to WinClassic theme 3 minutes after installation anyway.

Without a start button though.

Still a bit skeptical about Win8. I'm not sure how they expect us to use Metro and regular applications together. MS will most likely make sure that stuff like Office is going to be based on Metro. So how do I use my non-Metro applications in combination with that?
