ITV mistook game footage for real life

ITV produced a documentary about the IRA with supposed 1988 footage of them shooting down a helicopter, but which was actually a youtube clip of Arma II. Morons

What? So ITV has now become as bad as Fox News for non-existent fact-checking, on-screen chyron mistakes such as calling Barack Obama "Osama" or labeling party-embarrassing Republicans as "Democrat" while using the wrong footage to mislead its audience, which Sean Hannity has done on 3 separate occasions? (never mind how many times the rest of the network has done it)
Wow...stop the fucking presses.
At least ITV hasn't taken the position that it has the right to lie to its audience...you know...like Fox News and Sun Media have openly done.

ITV news used to lie frequently back in the 90s when it was hosted by that posh-sounding shill who looked like a raisin. remember coming home from demonstrations and they'd report ridiculously low attendances (when compared with the numbers i'd just seen myself).
haven't watched it much since then because, apart from occasionally being total bollocks, it always seems to be reporting stuff you've seen/read somewhere else hours beforehand. it's also on the network with the worst visual identity i've ever fucking seen, and i remember Dutch tv from the 80s.
