i have a logitech mx510 since it came out, 2 days ago the right button stopped working, tried fixing it, after doing some research it's the clicker thats busted which i can get for $2 on ebay.

the mx510 still goes for $50, but hard to find so i was thinking of getting the mx518 or maybe the m510 wireless ?

looking for a gaming mouse so throw some ideas at me.

the switch in question is Omron D2FC-F-7N btw

Go find any old ps2 mouse(2nd hand store) and use a switch out of one of them, probably get one for 10 cents.

nah, i'm not planning on fixing it for now at least, time for something new(er), if no ideas come i'll just get the mx518

besides, if i did buy a 2nd hand mouse the switch prolly wouldn't work. all the switches are exact model i mentioned above.

That switch is kindof a standard made by probably about a hundred companies, pretty universal. Some brands are better-Omron being one

mx518 is a great mouse, I'm using one right now and it's a favourite among gamers.

i'm gonna go for the mx518 but i'm getting 2 of em.

It's worth getting two 518s, the price of them just keeps going up and i bet they discontinue them eventually to encourage people to buy their newer, shitter mice.
