UXTHEME.DLL hacking, let you use unsigned themes packed the same way MS themes are.

Link for some nice themes: http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showforum=36

Here you'll find a shitload of WindowBlinds skins.

Version 4 and above use hardware acceleration for their effects. There is basically no performance loss at all compared to using default XP themes. And it skins EVERYTHING.

I just changed my to theme to this:

Every skinning app I've ever used was either slow, unstable, broken or just awkward.

Thats why you use the one built in to XP, not those shitty apps like Windowsblinds.

I don't feel a need to skin my XP.

XP Skins to me are so boring. You can only stare at it for so long. I suppose if you only spend a few hours a day on the computer it would be ok, but when you spend 16 hours a day in front of one then you have to have some variety.

Once you're rebooted just double click on the .msstyle and then the theme windows loads up, then click ok.
