Battlefield 2 release 17th of june in europe and demo on the 16th of june.
The rest of the world will have a release date on the 23rd of june.

Because summer vacation/break starts at that time in Sweden(and i guess most of europe) so they wanna get it out early befre everyone leaves on vacations.

It might also be interesting to know that it is said that the game will only run on Windows XP and not on earlier versions for some wacky reason.

is it just me, or do those weapons sound pretty weak? i'm used to guns that sound like they're actually doing some significant damage.
