Its a sad day for Canadian politics. Layton shook things up more than any other politician since Trudeau and would have done great things. Rest in peace

He would have made a great Prime Minister, instead we got Harper. Doubly sad.

I was lucky I got the chance to speak with him back in February, it seems he was the only politician in the entire country who actually backed his words with his actions. Truly a great loss and Canada's future looks much more bleak now. Wish Steve Jobs had died instead.
