Editing with Picassa

You'll also need Hello.
When you edit a picture in Picassa it dosen't actually affect the picture at all.
The effect is stored in a picassa.ini file located in each contained folder.
This is not permanent unless you share the file with friends or upload it to your blogger.
There are probably some fixes that become permanent but most probably aren't. One that is permanent is red eye but it backs up the original into a folder under the same name.
There is a way to get around this if you want the edits to be saved for good.
When your in the editing mode and have finished editing you can stay in that mode or go back to the library.
Simply click the blog icon at the bottom and this should open hello.
You should see the picture on the left the way you have edited it.
Now simply click on save under the picture to save the edit to whatever folder you want.
Now this will be permanent rather than temporary in Picassa.
