I wish to do a spin-off of the QL ads by putting some in my future maps, (yes, even the Gothic maps. I don`t really care so much for atmosphere as I do gameplay) but I don`t want to break copyright violations by using real products in my maps. (besides, they`d go out-of-date seriously fast) So I was thinking of doing some clever "fun" ads would have a light sense of humor while still giving the impression that "hey, this is an e-sport game".

So far, I have a few ideas, but I decided to post a thread in case other people have ideas to share. I plan to compile these suggestions together for my next map, and will give credit in return. Here are my ideas, feel free to use them in your own maps, just give me credit (I might post pictures later on once I get the images done:

- Cologne (Monochrome, Sarge with tuxedo, Hunter, Major, Crash surrounding him in a clockwise direction, name of cologne is Intensify by "Romero and Willits" - game developer names)
- Sports Gear Ad (Company name is GoProGear, Doom with new outfit, showing off sport-like training gear, $39.99)
- Razorade (Gatorade spinoff, picture of modified Gatorade bottle, Razor in corner saying "Razor Approved!")
- Reserved Ad Space (Says "Advertising to Die For! - call 123-456-ARENA" shows Ranger lying dead on the floor)

I decided that I`m going to do a combination of clever "fun" ads and ads to promote real websites.

I would like to ask permission if I could advertise Quake3World on my maps. I would also like to ask the creators / admins of LevelDesign.nl if I could also advertise their site to give them more traffic. I`m also thinking of promoting ..::LvL as well. Please let me know if you are alright with this.

Sure. Maybe stick the Q3W banner at the top in your map somewhere (though you might want to adjust it to fit Q3's texture dimension requirements of powers of 2).
