I need some new music any good songs or bands? At the moment I'm into rock/alternative. But i'll listen to anything that sounds good. I'm getting really tired of rap, especially the current mainstream hits.
Here is my
current winamp list.
I don't necessarily like everything on it since my little bro requested half of it.

I heard a few MSI songs before...they were singing about faggots or something. Kinda turned me off. The only bands I can recommend to your are the more mainstream ones like Rammstein or Slipknot, in fact, I'd probably end up being you making this post because I barely listen to anything different than what I'm used to. But as for new albums, take a listen to Vol 3: Subliminal Verses, Mesmerize, ummm.... I guess the new Mudvayne cd, I heard one of those songs from that album, Fuckin' Determined, which is kinda cool.

Iron Maiden owns, never heard of Thursday, I'll give it a try.
MSI is pretty annoying and the guy sounds like a complete homo.

Iron Maiden, I've also started listening to Megadeth since someone suggested it to me, a tout le monde is quite addicting.

I used to listen to most of that stuff, but eventually turned more into alternative at the time. Stuff like pearl jam and smashing pumpkins.

Ahh, I'm probably of no use to you then.

You already mentioned that you liked Pearl Jam, but they've got a bunch of new stuff that's worth checking out.
Other possibilities off the top of my head that seem similar to your playlist: Dredg, Modest Mouse, Alice In Chains, Gomez (slightly more poppish), Rearview Mirror...
Also, Mark Mallman if you like something similar to Queen and early Elton John... worth checking out at least.
And music taste is completely subjective, so I'm going to start this sentence with "I think": I think MSI is terrible and I wouldn't accept any of their cd's as gifts..

I would like to reccomend you start listening to different music than only metal and (bad) hip hop.

Look, i've made you a list you can ignore:
Thievery Corporation (tripped out shit for sundaymorning moments)
Richie Hawtin (ask dmmh to link you to an excellent live set)
Mauro Picotto (has the ability to turn any crowd into goddamn lunatics - absolutely amazing live)
Chris Liebing (also very much the man)
Speedy J (his stuff is a sonic bath, get your hands on a live set)
Dr. Octagon / Cool Keith (fairly strange hip hop)
Anti Pop Consortium (stranger hip hop)
Redman (also hip hop, look for his older shit as it's fucking good)
Aphex Twin (for when things get serious, or not)
Mobb Deep (raw & savage hip hop from the streets, as it were)
Laurent Garnier (friendly warm french techno)
Johannes Heil (completely spaced out friendly warm german techno)
Sven Vath (= german + drugs)
MOP (agressive hip hop, good for when you're drinking)
