Lost map of childhood home! Does it give you an error too? H

Dear community,
About seven years ago I went to the trouble of making a Quake3 map of my childhood home (we were moving out then). This map used to work, and it was awesome! But now I can no longer get the file to open, and I have no idea why, despite many efforts to figure it out. So I'm wondering if anyone can help me out by downloading the .pk3, checking if it works for them, and if not maybe to suggest why? The map is called Furlong.pk3 (attached), and requires the pak0.pk3 data from Quake3.
The error I get when I type "map furlong" at the console is "Can't find map maps/furlong.bsp" even though I think there is a furlong.bsp in the right place!
I can't say how grateful I'd be for some help with this cherished old project. Many many thanks!

p.s. I'm able to play Quake3 levels, and I've been able to load other custom levels I found online, so that's not the problem. In fact since I have the original files I created I've tried installing NetRadiant to try to rebuild it, but that installation is causing its own headaches. (Running OS X 10.6)
