Strange request: Where to download "classical"?

Needless to say, classical music is not terribly popular on P2P programs. I currently use Soulseek and need a classical piece for a report.

It probably wouldn't even be an illegal download depending on who performed it. Symphonies generally aren't big in the record business AFAIK. If I can just find somewhere to download a performance of Mahler's Symphony No. 9...

Googling hasn't gotten me anywhere.

eMule :icon14:

Not sure at the moment how well eMule is doing, havent been getting over 10kB/s on all of my downloads.
But previously I've picked up several gigs of classical from there.

Take a look over at http://www.shoutcast.com/ and stream it to your HD with Winamp or XMMS.

I don't want to go try to find it. I've got to finish this paper today, maybe work a little tomorrow night. I might not even need it, really...

you wouldn't be in this predicament if you hadn't procrastinated.

Well, considering the performance I went to was last night, I don't think I'm doing so bad. :p

Hell, I'm 1/3 done with the paper so far.
Turns out I don't think I'll need to obtain it.

1st movt of Mahler 9 is awesome. The rest tails off a bit. I think he blew his wad with Das Lied von der Erde and the Sixth.

If I had bb I'd rip my own copy and post it for you. Sorry. You could perhaps buy it thru iTunes or something but I guess you've already thought of that...
