Just picked this up for $5! We need to game together so I can learn a bit.

Marksman seems to be the best small arms class. Low recoil + damage for default pistols makes it the best perk to use for the first two rounds at least. M14 > SCAR as well.

I just play medic and I seem to survive the most in most random matches I join, I even single-handedly beat the boss dude a couple of times. I usually pack the default pistol (which I use the most), a medic gun, a bullup and a grenade launcher.

I heal myself using the syringe and heal others with the medic gun. Both regenerates fast enough that I can usually run and heal when I or others get into any kind of trouble. Though I hate when I'm trying to heal someone and they're strafing about like they're Michael J. Fox. The only thing I have to watch out for are those blender and chainsaw dudes (I don't know what they are called). I don't know if they have any kind of weakness.

Flesh pounds are the giant assholes that rape you instantly. Clots carry chainsaws.

crossbow marksman is the best. travels through bros, instant kill on everything but the boss.
