Horde on Gears of War 2 was one of the most fun experiences I have had in a game for a long time - It even managed to get Turb hooked until me mashed up every single level! Now the tables have been turned and you become the Locust and attack the humans in an inverse horde kind of way. tactics and guns change as you progess ensuring you are always kept on your toes.

The main difference between this and horde is that the more humans you kill the more in game currancy you win, meaning you can buy new members of the Locust family, thus gaining different skills and qualities.

This sounds like it could be (should be? will be?) awesome and it made a game I would have bought an instant purchase in April 2011

Looks pretty cool. I thoroughly enjoyed the first two games. Two of the few games I can remember that were as fun the second, even fifth times through as they were the first time.

I am still of the old school and have thus far avoided buying a box game playing device

I will be grabbing this on launch. Cliffy knows how to make a fun game. Multiplayer deathmatch notwithstanding.

GoW 2 hasn't been released on PC either is it? So I don't think that even if they were going to bother with a PC version, we'd be seeing it any time soon.
