deleriems site enablePrecip -rain/snow

enablePrecip : Toggling rain/snow on your map. Sprites fall from the skybox and through entities
typical usage: 0 - none(default), 1 - rain, 2 - snow
i tried this both ways, rain and snow, neither worked, various compile types..

does this work?
am i missing doing something else ?

oh hey delerium... your water tutorial and socks terrain shader blending tutorial have not yet been combined...

shader blending in water...

Where are you reading this from? Who is delerium? It's not a valid Q3 feature, I suspect it's for a mod or other game but without a link or reference, I have no idea what you are referring to.

I've seen a lot of bad spelling of Delirium but that's the worst! gj

and yes that's for Urban Terror only ;)


and an advanced Water Tutorial is yet to come :) along with others i have planned up.

lol scuse the spelling.. it comes thru me.

anywho, one way i figure to do rain or snow in q3 is with trains and or animated shaders..


a bunch of planar trains descending traveling to the side, rising back up, reorienting and descending again
