on a day with 50+ ppl killed in iraq including us soldiers in multiple bombings, the top story on all msm is the dissapearance of some rich whore...
could it get any more obvious that media is govt controlled?

It happens damn near every other day. And to goof - I really doubt it's as sinister a picture as you paint it. MSN is an entertainment publication - just like most mainstream network "news" these days.
The 9 bombings were top fare on NPR this morning. You do know that NPR gets some of its funding by the government, right?

Yes it could, because you're talking bollocks.
The government doesn't need to control the media. They don't cover stuff like that because of self-censorship and fear of being branded unpatriotic. That embedded reporter who came back with the footage of a marine shooting some injured guy in Fallujah got a dickload of hatemail. With a nation of mental cases like that, the government doesn't need to control the media.
