For us humans it's no longer necessary to act purely out of survival instinct. Eating has gone beyond a purely nutritious activity. It's gone to something that we do for our own enjoyment. These people didn't make this fish suffer because it was a necessity, they made it suffer for their own enjoyment. There's a huge difference.

From a human view it's torturous, but I loop hooks thru fishes backs then send them on a 50 yard parabola until they smack against the surface of the water, then sink to the depths to await a hungry catfish to run across him.

Personally I think that's some evil shit they did, cooking it up and letting it get eaten alive. I can't really judge tho because I do something just as bad I'd say.
