Anyone going to see Queen on their world tour?

We're going to see 'em on July 10th at the Gelredome in Arnhem. Pretty sweet. Not sure how well Paul Rodgers will be in Freddy Mercury's place (I doubt anyone
can replace Freddy) but Brian May alone should make it worth it for me
Anyone else going to see 'em somewhere?

What's wrong with Queen? They're ace.

Uh, indeed, why not?
They're pretty much the most succesful rock band from the 70's, 80's and 90's. Musically they're brilliant. While commercially succesful, it has never influenced their ability to write interesting and good music.
Okay, so Freddy Mercury was a bit of an extrovert and flamboyant gay, but he's one of the best singers ever IMO and a fantastic songwriter to boot. Guess most people here are too young for this kind of stuff (says the 21 year old....)

Arguably they're less gay now than before.

Yeh, while I agree on that part I do feel that this might be my last chance to ever see the remaining band members perform on a live concert.

OK, without Freddy fronting it's not going to be half as good, but still, take what's left while it's still there

I don't have any desire to see them, but Brian May is a hell of a guitar player and they do have some good tunes.

that's why you are a fucking idiot... get out of this topic and go listen to your WHAM cd
queen is awesome. I definately think it would be worth seeing the remaining members, but i always feel sad when i think of freddy mercury, he was awesome and irreplacable.

Yeah, "Queen - now with 25% less homo" doesn't do it for me. It's not the same without Freddie.
