Weird Radiant error.

I keep getting this weird error that causes radiant to crash:

(GtkRadiant-1.4.0.exe:848): GdkGLExt-WARNING **: wglMakeCurrent() failed

It seems to be happening when I switch from program to program a lot. If I simply stay in Radiant it doesn't happen, but if I go into Q3A or some other program to test some things and come back to radiant a few times it crashes. It's not a huge deal but it gets annoying after a while.

I'm using GTKRadiant 1.4.0 on Vista 32bit. Anyone have any ideas? Let me know if you need more info.

ERROR: wglMakeCurrent failed.. Error:[value] is usually associated with having Anti Aliasing enabled in your graphics card control panel when trying to use the the various flavours of the Radiant editor; QeRadiant, GTKRadiant or Doom 3/Quake 4 Radiant.

From the following web page:-

When you get error messages (OS or program) just google them, you will often find someone who has heard of them and could offer a solution.

Oh awesome, I wasn't expecting someone to know what this was about.

I did try Googling it first but I must have searched for the whole error message or something because I got nothing relevant.

Thanks sock.

I'm running Vista 64, it works alright and I have few complaints. People like to bitch about it especially if they are running it on older hardware. I laugh at all the people ogling Windows 7 like it's night and day from Vista when it's just the same thing repackaged and tweaked. That said, Linux and OS X for the win!

You can set AA on a per-program basis in your video card driver options as well (at least with nVidia drivers and probably ATI as well).

the thing with vista, is that u need a pretty good computer for it to work with no problems, ppl complain cause they put vista on a 10 year old pos and expect it to work with flying colors.. ive never actually tried vista myself, im just the type to talk trash about somethign i dont like till i actually try it lol...

i hear windows 7 is much more stable though.
