it has 4 endings.
the original ending they wanted you to see (which was shot down in SH3) was that after Harry killed Alessa, you see him lying dead in his car. ever seen Jacob's Ladder? same ending it didnt really happen, it was the last stuff going on in his head before he realizes he died

I think it's harder to make a good movie out of Doom than out of Silent Hill. Doom has virtually no storyline or character building going on. All that stuff has to be filled in by the scriptwriter.

With Silent Hill you have a decent story and a well rounded out character ready to be used.

But ofcourse, knowing Hollywood they'll fuck this up like they did with Resident Evil.

you can sort of tell how much creative freedom the people making the film have by looking at the projected budget for a movie and who's backing that budget.
