Unreal Engine 3/ Gears of War

Some of this may be old, but for some Im sure its new. I havent seen the videos before, and they are pretty cool. The 4th demo vid is cool, the world is huge.

It requires a 1024 MB GFX card? WTF?

BTW, 1024meg video cards wont be that far off .512 are about now in terms of release, and 1024 are the next step, so... Xmas?

Yeah right. Maybe full "Ultra" detail like DooM3 claims you should have 512MB for highest detail.
But damn, ignore the model in the foreground and just look back behind it. I think this looks fucking awesome:

Just to put things in perspective...
when they had the alpha show, one single unreal 3 model contained the same amount of polygons as a Original UT map...

Those screens are low to med detail.
