A good movie is a good movie no matter when it was made. maybe you need to broaden your tastes.

See that's the thing, I don't find old movies good. Gone with the wind? Shit like that is horrible. It's like those old old movies were made for really stupid people. The old smokey and the bandit all of em suck. Mind you I may have liked it in it's day it's like cartoons for kids, I just can't watch em anymore they're boring. I know why I find them boring though it's the corny lines, the bad acting the horrible script and shit like that. I'd have to see the movie cause I know a little about the movie but never actualy watched it because of above reason.

LOL! Kracus can't distinguish between old movies and movies that suck. Gee Kracus, did On The Waterfront not have enough car chases and explosions for you?
I can't pick a single favorite film. I like a lot of them from a lot of genres.

Well, smoky and the bandit is not a good example even though I happen to like it. Yeah, there were tons of cheesy movies back then and a good bit of the acting sucked. But there were also a good amount of good movies.

Fucking hell Kracus, grab Bullitt, The getaway, boiling point (remake is called Payback with mel gibson), towering inferno, The wild bunch, Gone in 60 seconds(original ofcourse), A bridge to far, French connection, Get carter(again.. orginal with Michael caine), Night of the living dead and watch em over a weekend... there you got some good fucking movies from the sexties and seventies.

Payback, also know as "as close to maxpayne as you can get in film form". Even down to the attitude and the clothes he wears, lol...
